Eu normalmente não leio romances dark, mas eu abri uma exceção para Monster in His Eyes. Por que? Eu não tenho certeza, mas eu vi muitas pessoas falando bem sobre este livro que eu nem precisei ler a sinopse para decidir que eu iria ler.

I don't usually read dark romances, but I made an exception for Monster in His Eyes. Why? I'm not quite sure, but I saw a lot of people talking about this book that I didn't even read the blurb to decide that I was going to read it.

J.M. Darhower é conhecida por seus livros thriller de suspense, eroticos, dark e eu já tinha lido e gostado de sua outra série Forever. Mas mesmo eu tendo gostado de Sempre e Sempre: Redemption eu não teria sido tão mente aberta em ler outro romance dark, se muitas pessoas não tivessem me recomendado ele.

J.M. Darhower is known for her dark, erotic suspense thriller, and I've already read and liked her other series Forever. But even though I've liked Sempre and Sempre: Redemption I wouldn't be so mind opened to read another dark romance if a lot of people haven't recommended it.

Honestamente, eu não sei nem por onde começar a escrever esta resenha. Bem, eu sei que do início seria uma escolha sábia, mas eu não sei... Sabe aquele livro que fica na sua mente por dias? Bem, este ficou na minha cabeça por semanas. Faz um tempinho desde que eu li este livro pela primeira vez, mas eu senti que eu deveria colocar meus sentimentos em ordem antes de tentar fazer uma resenha.
Honestly, I don't know where to start writing this review. Well, I know the beginning would be a wisely choice, but I don't know... Do you know that book that stay in your mind for days? Well, this one stayed in my head for weeks. It's been a while since I read this book, but I felt like I should put my feelings straight before trying to make a review.

Meninos nunca deveriam ficar entre amigas, nunca. E eu, particularmente, desprezo as meninas que traem suas amigas, mas em Anything To Have You eu tive sentimentos diferentes.
Boys should never come between friends, never. And I, particularly, despise girls who cheat their friends, but in Anything To Have You I had different feelings.

O enredo era muito bom e Paige Harbison trabalhou realmente bem, por algum tempo, pelo menos. Eu não sei exatamente onde ou o que deu errado, mas a história contada em cinco partes alternadas no ponto da menina de vista e na época não funcionou para mim, eu senti que estava construindo e construindo e construindo minhas emoções e, então, nada, porque o ponto de vista mudou. The plot was quite really good and Paige Harbison worked it really well, for awhile at least. I don't know exactly where or what went wrong, but the story told in five parts alternating in the girl's point of view and in the time didn't worked for me, I felt like it was building and building and building my emotions and, then, nothing, because the point of view had changed. It was really frustrating.

Eu odiei Brooke, ela era uma vaca egoísta e não se importou com os sentimentos de Nat, nem de Aiden. I hated Brooke, she was a selfish bitch and didn't care for Nat nor Aiden's feelings. Natalie and Aiden were definitely my favorites characters of the whole book, the author put their love in such a way that made me want a love like that, my heart melt the way one care for another, I just missed more about their relationship. As I said before I despise a girl that cheat her friend and this book made me have different feelings, that's because I never truly stopped to think that sometimes when both love each other it's impossible to resist, love is louder than any other feeling. I also liked Reed, even in his f-up way, and I think a book for him is a must.

Talvez a narrativa não tenha funcionado muito bem para mim, mas eu gostei de como Paige H. colocou problemas reais de adolescentes na história e trabalhou em torno deles. Apesar de eu não concordar com algumas situações que a autora colocou na história, eu gostei de ler este livro, leitura rápida e emocionante.
Maybe the narrative didn't work that well for me, but I liked how Paige H. put real teenage problems in the story and worked around it. Although I din't agree with some situations the author put in the story, I enjoyed reading this book, quick reading and emotional.

Este é o primeiro trabalho de Paige Harbison que eu li e com certeza eu vou ficar de olho nela.
This is the first work of Paige Harbison I've read and surely I'm going to keep an eye on her.

Conheci a autora Colleen Hoover através de sua série Slammed, você pode conferir a resenha do primeiro livro aqui, e desde então eu sou completamente apaixonada por ela. Daí, comecei a procurar por mais títulos da autora e foi que então que eu encontrei Hopeless.

A principio, quando eu li a sinopse, tentei evitar este livro. Por que? Porque eu não gosto de dramas. Mas em uma tarde sem nada pra fazer decidi que estava na hora de ler Hopeless. E quando comecei a ler só conseguia me perguntar porque eu não tinha começado a ler antes.

Sky Davis é uma jovem de 17 anos que foi adotada quando muito nova, educada em casa durante toda sua vida, criada sem nenhum tipo de tecnologia a sua volta. Sky está no último ano de ensino médio e sua vizinha, e melhor amiga, Six, a ajuda convencer sua mãe a deixa-la estudar em uma escola, o problema é que Six irá fazer um curso no exterior e Sky terá que passar por essa experiencia sozinha. 

Mas como em todo bom romance, ela não precisará passar por tudo sozinha. Eis que aparece o jovem Dean Holder. Assim como ela, Dean também tem uma reputação que o persegue. Desde o primeiro encontro dos dois há sentimentos estranhos e desconhecidos. Holder é o primeiro cara por quem Sky vai se interessar. Realmente se interessar.

Começa daí um história surpreendente. Se você pensa que sabe como essa história começa e termina, é melhor pensar de novo, pois Hopeless tem de tudo um pouco, menos cliché. Hopeless é um daqueles livros que te impressiona em cada página virada, o que você pensa que irá acontecer na próxima página, dificilmente é o que realmente vai acontecer.

Nem preciso dizer que Colleen Hoover é demais, né?! Seus livros são sempre tão diferentes e com situações inesperadas, mas nunca fugindo da realidade. E Hopeless não é diferente. Eu, particularmente, considero este um livro forte, pois expõe fatos que são reais e que invocam sentimentos mais reais ainda, sentimentos pesados. Mas ao mesmo tempo ele também é leve porque tem todo aquele clima de romance fofo e meigo e apaixonante.

“I’ve been looking for you my whole damn life.”

Foi bem difícil escrever esta resenha, Hopeless foi um livro que ficou na minha cabeça por semanas, sempre que eu pensava nele meu coração se comprimia. E me tocou de uma maneira que eu não consigo nem mesmo explicar. Espero que vocês tenha gostado e não deixem de comentar.

Desde a primeira vez que eu li No Limite da Atração eu estava esperando por este livro, mesmo Noah sendo um bad boy eu sabia que Isaiah era um bad boy pior ainda e, vocês sabem, eu não resisto a um bad boy! E um bad boy com um coração bondoso e alma gentil, é o meu fim! E Isaiah é tudo isso e mais!

Since the first time I read Pushing The Limits I was expecting for this book, even Noah being a bad boy I knew Isaiah was a worst bad boy and, you know, I can't resist a bad boy! And a bad boy with kind heart and gentle soul, it's the death of me! And Isaiah is all those things and more.

Crash Into You é pelo ponto de vista dele o que nos faz o amar mais, mais e mais. Eu não conseguia parar de ler este livro até a ultima página e quando alguem me interrompia eu queria cometer um assassinato.

Crash Into You is by his point of view what makes us love him more, more and more. I couldn't stop reading this book until the very last page and when someone interrupted me I wanted to kill someone.

Isaiah Walker teve um passado difícil no sistema de sistema de assistência social e isso o fez criar uma fachada grosseira, mas ele completamente o contrario. Leal, generoso e um garoto com coração de ouro, ele ajuda Rachel Young sair de um grande problema, mesmo que ele nem a conhecesse e ele já tivesse muitos problemas por si mesmo, ele não estava precisando de mais um.

Isaiah Walker had a difficult past in the foster care system and this made him create a rough facade, but he's completely the opposite. Loyal, generous and a gold heart guy, he helps Rachel Young get out of a big trouble even he didn't know her and he had a lot of problems himself, he wasn't in need of one more.

Mais uma vez Katie McGarry me surpreendeu, claro que eu estava esperando um livro incrível, mas isto foi além das minhas expectativas. Este é um new adult emocionante e viciante que todos deveriam ler. Mas eu preciso confessar que eu não gostei do livro cem por cento. Infelizmente, tem algumas pequenas coisas que me incomodaram, como o 'vilão' da história, aquele que todos estavam com medo, não me pareceu tão mal assim. Entretanto, os irmãos mais velhos da Rachel foram os que mais me deixaram nervosa, eles deveriam ajuda-la!!! Fora isso, amei o livro.

One more time Katie McGarry surprised me, sure I was expecting a great book, but this was beyond hopes. This is a emotional, addicting new adult that everyone should read. But I need to confess that I didn't like the book a hundred per cent. Sadly, there's some little things that bothered me, such as the 'villain' of this story, the one everyone was afraid of, don't seemed too bad to me. However, Rachel's older brothers was what put me on my nerves more, they should help her!!! Aside of it, I loved it.

Mesmo que David tenha concordado em anular, ela não está tão feliz com isso. Eu estou apaixonada por Lick. Eu li, reli, li mais uma vez e parece que eu nunca vou me cansar de ler essa história apaixonante, divertida e viciante. A autora Kylie Scott soube criar muito bem a história de seu livro, a química entre seus personagens é tão autentica que faz com que a história fique ainda mais atraente, seus personagens secundários também são adoráveis, principalmente o Mal. Bom, melhor parar por aqui e deixar que vocês julguem o livro por si.
I'm in love with Lick. I read, reread, read again and it seems like I'll never get tired of reading this passionate, fun and addictive story. The author Kylie Scott knew very well build the story of her book, the chemistry between the main characters is so authentic that makes the story gets even more appealing, her secondary characters are also lovely, especially Mal - best friend of David. Well, better stop here and let you judge the book by yourselves.

Só mais uma coisa e eu vou terminar esta resenha, se você não gosta de New Adult dê uma chance para este livro, você talvez se surpreenda quão incrível está história é.
Just one thing more and I end this review, if you are not into New Adult give a chance to this book, you may be surprised how incredible this story is.

Quando eu comecei a ler o livro, eu estava tão animada para ler algo diferente do que tem sido lançado ultimamente. Ink é um romance supernatural que involve o Japão, desenhos e vários misterios e essa mistura me fez querer ler este livro ainda mais.
When I started to read the book I was so excited to read something different of everything that has been released lately. Ink is a supernatural romance that involves Japan, draws and a lot of mystery and this mix made me want read this book, badly.

A história estrela dois adolescente que sofreram muito no passado, mas a história é contada pela perspectiva de Katie. Ela ainda sofre pela perda de seus pais e a obrigação de ir morar com sua tia no Japão, um país que ela não sabe muito sobre. Nem mesmo o idioma!
The story stars two teenagers that has suffered much in the past, but is told from Katie's perspective. She still suffer by the lost of her parents and the obligation of go to live with her auntie in Japan, a country she doesn't know much about. Not even the idiom!

Every time you read a scene he and Katie are talking you never know what to expect he is going to say next. To me it's called bipolar, but anyway... Of course, Katie felt in love with him almost immediately - who doesn't love a bad boy who has strange abilities and a mysterious past?

Eu realmente gostei de Katie, ela é agressiva, intrometida e determinada, entretanto, sua obsessão com o bad boy do colégio é um pouco louca. Ela persegue ele! E pior, não é só uma vez! E eu estava tipo 'Que droga há de errado com você, garota?'. Ok, ela estava tentando descobrir por que os desenhos de Tomo se moviam, mais isso não é desculpa para ela stalkear ele!
I really, really liked Katie, she's pushy, nosy and determined, however her obsession with the school's bad boy is a little crazy. She stalk him! And worse, she didn't stalked him just once, but a few times! And I was like 'WTF is wrong with you, girl?'. Ok, she was trying to discover why his drawings were moving, but it's no excuse for her stalking him!

Eu amei o livro desde a primeira página, na verdade, desde a capa. Que capa linda. Quem fez isso, fez um ótimo trabalho!
I loved the book since page one, actually, since the cover. What a beautiful cover. Whoever did it, did an incredible job! 

MAS o livro não era tudo o que eu estava esperando. Amanda Sun começou o livro da maneira certa, a história era diferente, Japão é um país incrivel, a narrativa era boa, ou seja, ele tinha tudo para ser uma experiencia inesquecível para aqueles que iriam lê-lo. Mas por alguma estranha razão isso não aconteceu, entre o começo e o fim a autora se perdeu, a narração começou a ficar devagar e a história um pouco confusa.
BUT the book wasn't everything I was expecting. Amanda Sun started the book all right, the story was different, Japan is an amazing country, the narrative was good, in others words the book, it had everything to be an unforgettable experience for those who would read it. For some strange reason this didn't happen, between the beginning and the end the author lost her thing, the narrative started to be slow and the story a little bit confuse. 

Apesar de tudo, você consegue notar que a autora tem talento, porque quando Katie e Tomo estão juntos você não consegue largar o livro, ela só precisa praticar mais sua narração, pois eles individualmente são chatos!
Besides everything, you can see the author has talent, because when Katie and Tomo were together you couldn't put the book down, she just need to practice her narrative, because they individually are so annoying!

De maneira geral o livro é bom, se você quer uma história diferente com um pouco de drama, então este livro é perfeito para você, mas não comece com grandes expectativas.
Altogether the book is good, if you want a story different with a drama then this book is perfect to you, but don't start with high expectations.

Ah, as histórias são tudo o que eu pedi. Katie McGarry consegue fazer com que o tema mais clichê do mundo, neste livro o de desafios e apostas, vire um enredo perfeito!

When I read the first book of Pushing The Limits trilogy I fell in love for the author, her write is amazing, her characters are well built, and the stories... Ah, the stories are everything I asked for. Katie McGarry can make the most cliché theme, in this book the bet and dare, turn into a perfect plot.

Fomos apresentados a Beth Risk em No Limite da Atração, e achamos que ela é uma vaca! Mas neste livro conhecemos como realmente é a vida de Beth e com isso entendemos melhor a história dela e acabamos por respeitar totalmente essa garota.

We were introduced to Beth Risk in Pushing The Limits, and we thought she is a c*w! But in this book we met how Beth's life truly is and with this we understand better her history and we ended up respecting totaly this girl.

Like in Pushing The Limits, Dare You To is a rollercoaster of emotions. Both book the author uses and abuses of familiar drama in the stories, a fragile theme, but Katie knows very well how to use.

O que me incomoda muito, tanto no primeiro como neste livro, é que as personagens acabam ficando quietas em certas situações que elas deveriam xingar, gritar e tudo mais, talvez por eu ser um pouco explosiva isso seja um ponto negativo pra mim, mas isso vai de cada um.

What bothers me very much, either in the first as in this book, is that the characters end up getting quiet in certain situations that they should swear, scream and everything else, maybe because I am a explosive person this is a negative point to me, but that will of each person.

Como eu já disse anteriormente, me apaixonei pela autora desde as primeiras páginas de seu primeiro livro e neste não foi diferente. Katie McGarry continua nos conquistando e prendendo nossa atenção com seus personagens, suas histórias e narração maravilhosos.

As I said before, I fell in love for the author since the first page of her first book and this one wasn't different. Katie McGarry keeps conquering us and holding out attention with her wonderful characters, stories and narrative.

Eu conheci o trabalho de Erin McCarthy na série Fast Track e eu realmente gostei dela, quando eu vi que seu novo livro era um gênero diferente que Romance Contemporâneo  eu confesso, fiquei com medo de ler, mas Erin fez um prazeroso trabalho.

I first met Erin McCarthy's work on Fast Track series and I really enjoyed it, when I saw that her new book was a different genre of Contemporary Romance, I confess, I was afraid of read it, but Erin did a pleasantly work.

True segue o mesmo enredo da maioria dos Young Adults, um herói bad boy problemático, uma heroína virgem tímida e um romance nem tão impossível assim.

True follow the same story line of most young adults, a damaged bad boy hero, a shy virgin heroine and a not-so-impossible romance.

Aqui nós temos Tyler Mann como nosso bad boy, um garoto que tem mais por dentro do que ele deixa qualquer um saber. Tyler não teve a melhor vida, mas está fazendo o melhor para mudar sua vida e de seus irmãos para melhor. 

Apesar de tentar mudar de vida, ele não se sente digno de alguém como Rory Macintosh. Rory é insegura, quieta e sem uma vida social, mas ele é mais que isso, ela é inteligente, logica e honesta.

Os personagens, incluindo os secundários, foram bem construídos de maneira que podemos nos identificar com eles, a história em geral é muito boa, mesmo sendo um pouco clichê.

This book had some deep affect on me, Tyler's life story made me cry and want hug him to never let him go! The characters, including the secondaries, were well built in a way we can identify ourselves with them, the story in general is very good, even being a little cliche.

O que eu particularmente não gostei foi o final, eu acho que a autora terminou o livro muito rápido e deixou algumas coias no ar. Mesmo que Erin vá colocar True em uma série, eu achei que ela poderia ter feito um epilogo para explicar como as coisas terminar. Fora isso eu amei ler este livro.

What I didn't particularly like was the ending, I think the author finished the book in a rush and left some things in the air. Even that Erin will make this into a series I think she could have made an epilogue to explain how things ended up. Other than that I loved reading this book.

Essa é provavelmente a resenha mais curta que eu já escrevi, mas se eu falar muito eu vou falar tudo e isso não é legal, alem do mais não tem muito o que falar sobre ele, o livro é bem curtinho.

Mas ele esconde um segredo. Um segredo bem profundo que o mantem longe de relacionamentos e o faz beber para tentar esquecer isso.

O livro foi bastante devagar e o romance é dificilmente um elemento deste livro. Entretanto, eu gostei de ler Ask Me To Stay.

The book was very slow and the romance was hardly an element of this book.  However I liked to read Ask Me To Stay.

No inicio eles até tentam ser apenas amigos, mas a medida que eles vão se conhecendo, o sentimento deles vai se tornando ainda mais forte e eles não conseguem mais evitar.

At first they try to be just friend, but as they will knowing each other the feeling is getting stronger and that they can't avoid anymore.

A autora Katy Evans me encantou com este livro, todos os personagens são bem construídos (amei como a autora criou uma explicação logica para o ciumes e proteção em excesso de Remy), a história é muito fofa (eu quero uma história de amor como essa) e a maneira como ela fez eles se comunicarem através da musica (~suspiros~).

The author Katy Evans delighted me with this book, all characters are well built (I loved how the author created a logical explanation for Remy's excessive jealousy and protection) and the story is so cute (I want a love story like that) and the way she made them communicate through the music (~sigh~).

A narração, com o ponto de vista em primeira pessoa, é bem detalhada e de forma que a leitura flua rapidamente. Mas eu iria achar melhor se o ponto de vista fosse intercalado entre os dois, mas isso não é um ponto negativo.

The narrative, in first-person point of view, is quite detailed, so that the reading flow quickly. I would rather if the point of view would be intercalate in the two of them, but that’s not a negative point.

Se você gosta de ler livros com homens fortes, determinados e dominantes, então você irá amar ler Real de Katy Evans, de uma oportunidade para este livro maravilhoso e não irá se arrepender.
If you like books with  strong, determinate and dominant men then you'll love read Real by Katy Evans, give an opportunity to this wonderful book, you won’t regret it.

Se Abbi Glines acertou em cheio no primeiro livro da série Too Far, em Never Too Far, infelizmente, não foi isso que aconteceu. O que era pra ser a finalização perfeita da história de amor entre Blair e Rush acaba sendo um livro que podemos considera-lo como ‘enrolation’.

No final de Fallen Too Far, após descobrir o segredo que todos escondiam dela, Blair volta para Sumit para tentar apagar Rush e seu amor por ele de sua mente e coração. Decidida a nunca mais ter que voltar a vê-lo ou qualquer outro membro daquela família, Blair se desespera ao receber a noticia que mudará completamente sua vida.

Rush acreditava que depois do que fez nunca mais veria o amor de sua vida, mas agora ela está de volta à cidade e seu antigo emprego. Decidido a nunca mais ter que ficar longe dela, Rush agarra com unhas e dentes esta segunda chance que a vida lhe dá e fará tudo que for preciso para reconquistar a confiança e o amor de Blair.

A autora me surpreendeu muito neste segundo volume da série Too Far, e não de uma maneira positiva. Depois do grande sucesso que foi Fallen Too Far, eu esperava que a continuação fosse tão boa quanto ou melhor que ele. Entretanto, Abbi Glines criou um enredo pobre, uma trama forçada e um final apressado, o que acabou com a minha felicidade, porque eu estava pronta para amar essa série!

Never Too Far também tem seus pontos positivos como, os personagens continuam cativantes, aqui temos a história contada por dois pontos de vistas - o de Blaire e o de Rush - e o romance entre os personagens principais continua sendo de dar suspiros. Quero um Rush Finlay pra mim, onde compra?

Depois de perder sua mãe para o câncer e ter que vender tudo o que tinha, Blaire Wynn se vê forçada a se mudar do Alabama para a casa de seu pai, que abandonou ela e sua mãe cinco anos atrás depois da trágica morte de sua irmã gêmea, Valerie.

Woods, Bethy, Grant e Nan fazem parte dos personagens secundários, que são surpreendentes, e aparecem para fazer a história ainda melhor. Confesso que eu me apaixonei por todos personagens, secundários ou não, eles são todos incríveis.

Fiquei com muita, muita, mas muita raiva de Rush pelas coisas que ele fez com a Blaire, seja agora ou cinco anos atrás. Mas isso eu não vou contar pra não estragar o mistério. Sério, sacanagem é elogio para o que ele fez!

Abbi Glines já é uma autora bastante conhecida lá fora, mas este é o primeiro trabalho dela que eu leio e posso dizer, com toda certeza, que não vai ser o último e que eu não me arrependo nem um pouco de ter lido, longe disso. Fallen Too Far é o primeiro volume de uma série - não tenho certeza, mas acho que são só dois livros -, o segundo volume, Never Too Far, está previsto para ser lançado 26/02.

Esse livro é uma montanha russa de emoções.

A trama da autora S. C. Stephens é incrível, ela coloca todos os detalhes de uma maneira maravilhosa. Seus personagens são bem construídos e é impossível você não gostar deles, até mesmo da Kiera. Ela é a personagem mais 'odiável' do livro inteiro, algumas de suas atitudes me fizeram querer mata-lá e suas indecisões fizeram com que eu a odiasse.

O livro é uma boa opção para quem gostou de Belo Desastre e quer algo do gênero.
